January 13, 2026 - The Town of Essex will never request payments via email links or wire transfers. All fees for planning and zoning applications, as well as water and sewer payments must be paid in person at Town Hall, via USPS mail or through Paygov (water/sewer only). Official town emails will only come from @townofessexny.gov addresses. If you receive an email requesting payment, contact the Town Clerk’s office at 518-963-4287 x1 before responding.
