Whallons Bay Access

Project outcome: The steps leading to the tunnel and subsequent path leading to the shoreline are in need of improvement for safety reasons. Essex County Soil and Water approached the Town about helping to fund improvements in this area in March of 2025. A lined up contractor was unable to perform the required work, so the Town has taken a lead on ensuring that this public infrastructure is design appropriately and then, with the help of Essex County Soil and Water, executed appropriately.
