Highway Backup Furnace

The Town of Essex is seeking qualified bids for the installation of a propane backup furnace at the Town of Essex Highway Garage.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that sealed bids are sought by the TOWN OF ESSEX,

to install a new backup propane furnace at the town Highway Garage located at 1854 Route 22, Essex, NY.

The proposals shall be opened and read aloud on November 12, 2026 at 6:30 P.M. at the Essex Town Hall, 2313 Main Street, Essex, NY 12936.

Bids may be awarded at that time or at a subsequent Town Board meeting. Proposals received after November 12th at 6:00 P.M. will not be considered. All proposals submitted in response to this notice shall be marked "BACKUP FURNACE PROPOSAL" clearly on the outside of the envelope.

Sealed bids shall be mailed or hand delivered to: Town of Essex, PO Box 355, 2313 Main Street, Essex, NY 12936.
