Various members of the Highway Department hold certifications in several areas:

• Backhoe and Loader Operator (Benway)

The Highway Department members participate in OSHA training annually and are fully trained in DigSafeNY. The Highway Superintendent attends Cornell Local Roads Highway School annually.
