Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA)

The Zoning Board of Appeals consists of five members who are appointed by the Town Board for five-year terms. The Board is empowered to consider requests for interpretations or appeals from any order, requirement, decision, interpretation, or determination made by an administrative official charged with the enforcement of the Town Zoning Law, generally the Zoning Officer. An appeal may be taken by any person aggrieved, or by any officer, department, board, or bureau of the Town. The Board may be asked to interpret the law, or to grant variances from the strict requirements of the law.

The Zoning Board of Appeals meets as needed.
