• DATELINE: NOVEMBER 6, 2025 - Please take notice that The Town of Essex Town Board will hold a Special Meeting on Tuesday, November 25 at 10:00 A.M at Essex Town Hall to open and discuss the received sealed bid proposals for the Wastewater Boiler replacement and any other business that comes before the board.  For information about joining remotely, please visit this link.

  NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that sealed bids are sought by the TOWN OF ESSEX to remove and replace the current boiler with a commercial Utica Boiler at the Wastewater Treatment Plant building located at 2662 NYS Route 22 in Essex, New York.

  Sealed bids shall be submitted either in person at 2313 Main Street, Essex, NY or by mail to the Town of Essex, PO Box 355, Essex, NY 12936 on or before November 24, 2025 at 3:30 PM. Please mark your submission with "Boiler Replacement". The bids will be publicly opened and discussed on November 25, 2025 at 10:00 A.M at Essex Town Hall. Bids may be awarded at that time or at a subsequent Town Board meeting. We invite interested parties to call Wastewater Operator Tina Gardner at 518-963-7027 to schedule an appointment to view the scope of the work before submitting a bid.

• DATELINE: NOVEMBER 3, 2025 - NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Public Hearing will be held on November 6th, 2025 at 6:00 PM at Essex Town Hall, 2313 Main Street, Essex, New York, to consider the 2026 Town of Essex Preliminary Budget.

  Any person may submit written comments to the Town of Essex prior to the hearing or may appear and be heard before the Board at the time of the hearing. The hearing will be held in- person and remotely. The weblink and phone number for access to the Public Hearing are available on the Town website at https://essexnewyork.com/remote.
