  • Dateline: October 17, 2024 - Pursuant to Town Law §108, the following salaries for elected officials shall be proposed for the Town of Essex 2025 Budget:

    ·       Each Town Councilmember - $2,913.00

    ·       Town Supervisor - $24,912.00

    ·       Town Clerk - $23,046.00

    ·       Highway Superintendent - $46,986.00

  • Dateline: August 20, 2024 - Please take notice that the Essex Town Assessors will be participating in a mandatory revaluation. This happens every 3 years. The Assessors and County Data Collectors will be visiting each home in the town.
    If you have any questions about the process, please contact the Assessors Office at 518-963-4287 x6. This process will take place over the next couple of months.
