The Informational meeting was called to order by Supervisor Jackson at 7PM. Board members present were Councilwoman LaPine, Supervisor Jackson, Councilman Wrisley and Councilman Sayward. Also present was Audrey Hoskins, Town Clerk. Visitors were Wayne Ryan of AES Northeast, Sharon Boisen, Jonathan Pribble and MaryAnne Schultz. Mr. Ryan gave an overview of the sewer project. Mr. Ryan went over the layout for sewer pipe lines. A map of the piping system is on display at the Town Hall for public viewing. He discussed the treatment plant buildings, which will be located across from the Fire Station on land donated by the Close/Mallett family and the collection station which will be in the ECHO parking lot. Drawings of the buildings are on display in the Town Hall for public viewing. Green technology was discussed. Mr. Ryan stated the Town is waiting on funding determination. If funding is received Mr. Ryan gave a time line for the start of the project. Running of power lines underground was discussed, Different options for dealing with ledges was discussed. Jonathan Pribble asked what arrangements had been made to dispose of the rocks removed in the pipe line areas. Mr. Ryan stated that if he was interested in the rocks he would need to contact the bidders and let them know of his interest. Mr. Ryan stated that Doug West was interested in the spoils and Supervisor Jackson stated he was told he was DEC permitted to accept spoils from the project. A question was asked if Sally Johnson’s property “Champ Watch” was part of the sewer district. Mr. Ryan stated she was on the original listing. Supervisor Jackson stated that Ms. Johnson had written a letter asking to be in the original district. As far as DEC is concerned she is in the district. If she wants to change her status she will need to contact DEC. MaryAnn Schultz asked what would need to be done to have the sewer district extended up Lakeshore Road. Supervisor Jackson told her what steps would need to be taken and she said that she would get started on seeing who is interested. The cost of extending the sewer was discussed. Jonathan Pribble had questions in regards to his property being in the sewer district. Wayne Ryan stated he would check into this and get back to him. Mr. Ryan checked the map and found that he was in the district. Meeting was closed at 8:09 PM.
