Mark and Erin Hall Site Plan Review: The applicants have applied for a Site Plan Review to reconstruct the existing south side of the porch, replace the exterior siding, trim, windows and roof. The property is located in the Town and County of Essex. Tax Map #: 40.73-5-15.000. Colleen VanHoven asked if there was a protocol for public hearings. She suggested that the applicants explain what their projects are at the time of the public hearing. Mark Hall explained his project. Tom Duca sent a letter of support for the project. Hearing no further comments, a motion was made by Suzanne Perley and seconded by Don Hollingsworth to close the public hearing. The motion carried with board members voting as follows: The Regular meeting was opened at 7:05 p.m. Roll Call: Present: Bruce Klink, Nick Muller, Joan Stephan, Don Hollingsworth, Suzanne Perley. Absent: Mariko Fine Lease, Harold MacDougal. Acceptance of the Minutes: A motion was made by Don Hollingsworth and seconded by Nick Muller to accept the February 16, 2006 minutes as amended. The motion carried with board members voting as follows: Report of the Zoning Officer: See the attached sheet for a more detailed report from the Zoning Officer. Chairman’s Report: Bruce Klink reported that on March 23 and 24, 2006 the APA Local Government Day will be held at the Hotel Saranac. Suzanne Perley said that next year a new law would mandate that members have 4 hours of professional training. The property is located in the Town and County of Essex. Tax Map #: 40.73-5-15.000. The Hall’s were asked if the completion date of 1 year was feasible. They said that it was. The EPB asked if they plan to change the curb cut. They said yes and would be using gravel. They will need to contact the county for approval. A motion was made by Don Hollingsworth and seconded by Nick Muller to approve the draft permit with a condition regarding the curb cut. The motion carried with board members voting as follows: Public Comments: Liz Wilson said she was confused about the big changes at George Hearns. She didn’t understand why some things came before the EPB and others didn’t. The EPB suggested that she look at the Zoning Ordinance. Adjournment: Hearing no further comments, the meeting was adjourned at 7:20 p.m.
